I was born in Enid in 1942 and lived there with my family until I was 14. I have many good memories of growing up there. On your your web site you have two pictures of the Cherokee Strip Parade taken in 1952. My family always attended the Parade each year and I'm certain we were in attendance.
The reason I am writing you this note is to request permission two copy two pics from your web site to use in my Book. I am in the process of writing my autobiography and as I have written about growing up in Enid, I thought it would be good to have a few pictures to allow the reader to not only experience cognitive input but, also visually see some of what I'm writing about. If you are open to giving permission, I will certainly give you credit. Please let me know by contacting my email address. Again, <firstname.lastname@example.org
